Every month we would feature an Artitst/Band from all over the world for you, our genre of recommendation would purely base on Contemporary Jazz, Pop Jazz, Acid Jazz, Latin Jazz, Blues, Bossa Nova, Samba, Easy Listening, and similar genres.
This month we focus on Vince Guaraldi, he was an American Jazz musician and pianist best known for composing music for animated adaptations of the Peanuts comic strips a.k.a Snoopy. He was a Grammy-Award winning jazz pianist prior to the Peanuts series. Nevertheless, his most recognized tune is "Linus and Lucy" from A Charlie Brown Christmas, a song which is known by fans worldwide as the musical signature of the Peanutsfranchise.
His music are usually smooth, mellow and jazzy which is kinda relaxing and perfect while sipping on a cup of coffee either if it's in the morning, afternoon or night.
You can find his songs featured in our imeem player in this blog. Feature album would be rom A Charlie Brown Christmas,
We are pleased to announce this month's Specialty of the Month!
The highlight of this month's flavor is Mint, the icy cooling aftertaste of the herb usually remind us of winter.
Q: Why do we have Candy cane during Christmas? A: Some scholars believe a confectioner developed candy canes to represent Jesus. The shape of the "J" was for Jesus, or the shepherd's staff. The white color symbolized purity, while the red stripes indicated blood. Peppermint is similar to hyssop, the Middle Eastern mint mentioned in the Bible.
