Finally another update in MBC's Blog. :P

The month of hearts and love is finally here! Wishing all happy couples a Happy Valentines Day. This month we're using Berries and Chocolate as the theme of taste.

October's Specialty of the Month (SotM)

Fiesta Pilar is approaching fast and so does Halloween, both festive and whimsical holiday in one month.

Zamboanga La Hermosa Festival or the popularly known as Fiesta Pilar, is held in honor of the miraculous image of Our Lady of the Pilar at the legendary Fort Pilar. The people of Zamboanga fervently believe that the lady has served as their unifying cultural and historical symbol. In commemoration of her feast day, Zamboanga displays its devotion and enthusiasm with a nine-night procession, fireworks, an ethnic parade, a cultural show, a regatta, and the Miss Zamboanga parade. Halloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. Traditional activities include trick-or-treating, bonfires, costume parties, visiting "haunted houses" and carving jack-o-lanterns. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century including Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom as well as of Australia and New Zealand.

This month we used Toasted Marshmallows, Cookies and Chocolate as base of our specialties, in lieu of Halloween. We also recommend to try out our dessert type pizza, The Rocky Road Pizza (8"), fragrant buttered pizza dough topped with Dark and White Chocolate Chips, Nuts, Marshmallows, Caramel Sauce and hint of mint leaves, this specialty is for all the sweet tooth out there! And eat it while it's still hot. :P

By October 19th (Monday), MBC would undergo some decoration in prepare for the Halloween , so come and join us in this eerie yet festive holiday! The "Ber" months are just starting, so enjoy the fun.

September's Specialty of the Month (SotM)

It's September~! The start of Autumn season (Well, in other part of the world that is...) but the hot humid rainny days will soon be over.

This month we offer the palate of "comfort". The taste of nostalgia and somewhat mellow feeling for our customers. Check out below for the copy of September's Menu. :3
